• I'm a member of MENSA which is mostly a social organization. Members get together for various informal events such as happy hours, dinners, game and card parties, etc.

Outdoors

• I've always enjoyed the outdoors. My spouse Helene and I plan to start camping at some point, and I've done some hunting, and fishing. But one my biggest activities in past years has been target shooting. I've also discovered archery in recent times and may pursue that as time goes on.
• I'm an Endowment Member of the NRA and hold 6 intructor ratings.

• FCC Licensed ham radio operator since 1991 as N1KHB, and commercial FCC GROL license since 1994.
• Currently operating mostly portable with solar power, but occasionally at home on commercial power. I home brew when possible.
• I belong to the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) where I am currently a Volunteer Examiner, Volunteer Instructor, and Conn. Section Technical Coordinator.
